About KJLA

Kitsap Junior Livestock Auction is a volunteer run organization dedicated to advancing youth interest and education in agriculture and livestock management.  We promote the principles of good citizenship, ethics, sound business practices, fairness, and responsibility throughout the process of selecting and caring for the animals that the youth bring to market.

Not only does KJLA host the youth livestock auction at the Kitsap Fair, we also promote continuing education through scholarship grants for up to 3 graduating youth that participated in the auction.

KJLA's business meetings are open to the community and we typically meet on the second Monday of the month at the Kitsap Fairgrounds office.

KJLA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that exists through the generous donations of time and sponsorship from the community.  Please reach out to us if you want to help!

KJLA's 2023 Executive Board is comprised of the following members.  Officer elections happen at the regular October meeting.
